Development and operational projects
Neuvoo.fi energy advice is backed by the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy team under EcoFellows Ltd. We are also involved in many development and operational projects. You can find information about them below.

Energy consulting for building societies
Energy advice for housing associations The site is designed to help housing associations in planning and carrying out energy renovations. The website contains tips for board members, information on energy grants, and instructions and help for performing a ton inspection.

Energy-efficient and renewable Teisko project (ETUTeisko)
The purpose of the project is to reduce the amount of heating oil and purchased electricity and to improve the use of energy in the Teisko area.
In the project, good examples of energy renovations and other actions promoting a sustainable future will be collected from the area, which can be shared among the community. Eco partners’ energy advisors will organize information points and events in the area during the fall of 2022.

Energy-wise cities
In the 6Aika Energy-wise cities project, new intelligent and low-carbon supporting solutions were sought to improve the energy efficiency of residential and service buildings in cities. In addition, the project looked at the development of regional energy systems and the planning of zero energy blocks.

KARE – Resource-efficient maintenance of residential properties
KARE – Resource-efficient maintenance of residential properties In the project, additional training was organized for property managers regarding the energy efficiency of renovation construction and digital services. The project supports lifelong learning.

Puuosaamista Pirkanmaalle
In the Puuosaamista Pirkanmaalle project, in cooperation with micro and small and medium-sized enterprises, the training needs of the field of wood construction were investigated and the field’s training offer is developed, taking into account all levels of educational institutions. The University of Tampere, Tampere University of Applied Sciences and the Tampere region’s vocational college Tredu compile training packages that are tested by company staff in pilot trainings.

SeutuRANE (YM 2021-2022)
SeutuRANE – Energy advice tailored to each municipality. Free, expert and impartial energy advice will be extended to the entire Tampere region. One of SeutuRANE’s main goals is to create a one-stop-shop-style advice point for energy advice in the entire Tampere region, where impartial energy advice is available for all different situations, including the need for renovations, permit practices, parties relevant to further measures, and implementation options.

Advice on electrically heated small houses
The condition of the electric heating, like all electrical equipment, should be checked regularly and, in connection with the renovation of the premises, the need for renewal should also be determined. There are several ways to reduce energy consumption, influence energy costs, or do both in an electric heating house, some of which are very easy to implement.

From oil to renewables
With the Small houses from oil to renewable operating model, the municipality can encourage and help the owners of oil-heated small houses to change the heating method. The work is done in cooperation with local stakeholders. The project is financed by the Energy Agency, Tampere Sähkölaitos and the city of Tampere. Ekokampnit Oy is responsible for the implementation of the campaign. The project created its own advisory website to support the transition from oil to renewables.
Neuvoo.fi and the UN's sustainable development goals
In its historic General Assembly in 2015, the United Nations, made up of different countries and their leaders, set seventeen sustainable development goals (Sustainable Development Goals, SDG).
This UN’s global Agenda 2030 action program for sustainable development aims to take the world in a better direction with different metrics, such as ending poverty and responding to inequality problems, climate change and other environmental issues. The program’s 17 goals are divided into 169 sub-goals, the target deadline for achieving which is 2030.
The energy team of Ekokampanit Oy, which is the background of Rane – Neuvoo.fi’s activities, in the area of energy efficiency and renewable energy, implements many of these goals directly and indirectly in their work. In particular, Agenda 2030 goals 7, 9, 11 and 13 are directly reflected in our work.

7 Cheap and clean energy
Goal 7 affordable and clean energy can be seen especially in our energy consulting services. When giving advice, we aim to get the clients of the advice to move towards sustainable energy sources in their housing. For example, we recommend sustainably produced district heating and innovative heating systems instead of old and unfriendly solutions such as oil heating.

9 Sustainable industry, innovations and infrastructures
In addition to providing energy advice, we also strive to promote sustainable development. Goal 9—sustainable industry, innovation, and infrastructure—is present in our work through collaboration with universities, communities, housing companies, and public authorities. Through these various forms of cooperation, we help advance comprehensive and resilient infrastructure starting from the Tampere region. For example, we have worked together with Tampere University and TAMK to promote sustainable wood construction and strengthen related expertise.

11 Sustainable cities and communities
Our Energy Team, together with our entire organization Ekokumppanit, has organized numerous environmental events in the Tampere region on topics such as environmental issues, the circular economy, and climate change. Through this work, Sustainable Development Goal 11—sustainable cities and communities—and Goal 13—climate action—are strongly reflected in our activities.

13 Climate acts
We have also organized several workshops aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings, sharing practical tips, and fostering accessible, community-level discussion on the topic.
Other Sustainable Development Goals are also reflected in our work. We strive to apply a holistic approach to sustainability in everything we do. More information about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development:
